How can I access my benefits?

1. Print your own AARP Prescription Discounts ID card. Print a wallet-sized prescription discounts ID card from AARPpharmacy.com from your home computer. Take it to the pharmacy and begin saving. (Note: Each family member will need to print their own card.)
2. Use the RX Discounts Mobile App. Registered users of AARPpharmacy.com can download the new AARP Prescription Discounts mobile app to Smartphones. Use the app to access an electronic version of the prescription discount ID card that you can show to the pharmacist. (Note: Each family member would need to download their own app to access their own electronic prescription discount ID card.)

Then set up your account at AARPpharmacy.com where you can print your Prescription Discounts ID card. Present this card at any one of 64,000 participating pharmacies nationwide, and save instantly on all your prescriptions. You may also order prescriptions by mail.

Is AARP Prescription Discounts available to my family members?
Yes, it is available to AARP members, their spouses, and children and grandchildren up to age 27.

What online tools are available to me?
Your web account gives you convenient, online access to your personal prescription discount information. Through your web account you can print a prescription discounts ID card, compare drug costs at participating pharmacies, locate participating pharmacies, view your prescription history, search our drug dictionary and more.

What drugs are covered?
This program covers all FDA-approved prescription medications not covered by your insurance.

I am enrolled in Medicare Part D. Can I still use AARP Prescription Discounts provided by Catamaran?
Medicare Part D is prescription drug insurance. AARP Prescription Discounts provided by Catamaran is not insurance, nor does it replace your Medicare Part D prescription drug insurance, and is only intended to provide discounts on your prescription drugs that are not covered under Part D or another third party payer. You should always present your Part D card first to the pharmacist.
