It is not the insurer.  Medicare Supplement, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Essential Plus Health Insurance, Medical Advantage Insurance, Essential Health Insurance, and Personal Health Insurance plans are insured by United HealthCare Insurance Company (For plans offered in NY, United HealthCare Insurance Company of New York) under Policy GRP 79171 GPS-1 (G-36000-2, 4, 5, 6). Long-Term Care Insurance Plans are underwritten by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company on Policy G.LTC1697. The AARP Dental Insurance Plan is underwritten by Delta Dental Insurance Company (Policy DDIC1230), Dentegra Insurance Company (Policy DIC1230) and Dentegra Insurance Company of New England (Policy DICNE1230). Policy numbers vary by state. Delta Dental Insurance Company and its affiliates are not financially responsible for each others products. AARP Vision Discounts are provided by EyeMed Vision Care. Pharmacy Services are provided through United HealthCare Insurance Company.
