If you want a payment option that's convenient and saves you money, Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT) is for you! It allows you to have your insurance payment automatically
deducted and forwarded by your bank. This service is available to AARP members who
are insured through the AARP Health Care Options program and who wish to participate.
- You receive a discount of $2.00 per household each month (up to $24.00 per year).
- You save on the cost of checks and rising postage rates.
- You save the time it takes to write out a check and mail it to us.
- You know that your check hasn't been delayed or lost in the mail.
- You receive a record of payment on your bank statement.
- You know when your payment is made-on or about the fifth day of each month.

- Complete and sign the EFT Authorization Form
- Attach a voided check where indicated. (Do not send a deposit slip or canceled
check.)
- Mail the EFT Authorization Form and your voided check (if indicated) to the address
listed on the form.
You'll be notified of the start date of your EFT service. In the meantime, you should
continue to make your monthly coupon payments using the coupon payment booklet.
Once your EFT service begins, you can relax and enjoy the convenience and the savings
that it brings you!
